Meet Our Executive Chef: Jon Mancuso

Jon Mancuso The Meandering Goat

Born and raised in the maritime community of City Island, New York, Executive Chef Jon Mancuso brings a wealth of experience and passion to The Meandering Goat. After relocating to South Florida, he honed his culinary skills under esteemed chefs and formalized his training at Le Cordon Bleu. Since taking his first chef position in 2014, Jon has led diverse food service operations, from platinum-level clubs in Upper Michigan to private equity ranches in Colorado.

Jon's culinary philosophy emphasizes the importance of community and local artisans. At The Meandering Goat, he has crafted a menu that celebrates the incredible seafood and produce that Homer, Alaska, offers. His dedication ensures that each dish not only delights the palate but also tells a story of the land and sea from which it originated.
